The town of Catemaco is located 100 miles south of the city of Veracruz in the state of
Veracruz in Mexico. It sits next to the 3rd largest lake in Mexico with 32 miles of shoreline.
Surrounding Catemaco is lush green tropical jungle and dormant volcanic hills. Here you will
find the northernmost area in the Western Hemisphere where tropical rain forest conditions
exist. Travel about 30 miles down the road and you reach spectacular unspoiled sand beaches
found along the Gulf of Mexico. Not many tourists or travel agents have discovered this place
yet.

Catemaco can be reached by flying into Mexico City and then taking a short 50 minute flight to
the city of Veracruz or Continental Airlines has direct flights to Veracruz from Houston, Texas.
Modern buses can get you the rest of the way to Catemaco. Clean and inexpensive hotels are
scattered throughout the town.

You are invited to come down and visit us anytime. The kids would love to meet you! Why not
invest a few days helping us in the afternoon and then enjoy the beauty this tropical paradise
has to offer.
